Louis Vuitton Discontinued Hangbags Guide

I noticed that one of my bag-list designer bags had been discontinued a few days ago. It was the Pallas Clutch Louis Vuitton. It made me sad for a moment, as I had planned to purchase this bag for my next Paris trip. But now it is not going to happen. Then I thought about the other bags that Louis Vuitton has recently discontinued. I’ll try to show you these bags and let you know if they can still be found on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Pallas Clutch

This is the bag that inspired me to start the list of discontinued LV bags. The LV’s Pallas Clutch was long on my wishlist. Since a while I’ve wanted to add a small, functional bag to my collection. The Pallas Clutch can be used in four different ways: as a shoulder bag or crossbody, as well as a clutch and hand-held purse. You can fit an iPhone, smaller wallet, or card case in this bag. The bag’s Monogram Canvas design with soft grained cowhide and leather make it an elegant choice for day-to evening wear. The Pallas Clutch is no longer available for purchase. You can only buy it pre-loved.

Louis Vuitton Charming

The Delightful tote has been a favorite bag of Louis Vuitton for many years. As part of LV’s Pre Fall Collection, the Delightful was introduced for the first time in 2010. The Delightful bag can hold many things, making it an excellent alternative to the Neverfull bag. There were three sizes of LV Delightful: PM, MM, and GM. The interior featured a striped lining, a D-ring, and gold brass hardware. The Delightful was also available in and Damier Ebene Canvas. The Delightful bag was to be discontinued in 2017 and replaced with the Graceful bag. The Delightful can still be found on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Retiro

Louis Vuitton’s retiro was an everyday bag in a bowling design. Retiro came in two sizes at first: PM , and GM. The bag was available in the classic LV Monogram. The bag featured gold-tone hardware and suede interior. It also had an adjustable shoulder strap. The style was updated in 2015 and was named Louis Vuitton NM. NM stands for “new model”. It seems that all three versions of the bag have been discontinued today.

Louis Vuitton Berkeley

I recall the Louis Vuitton Berkeley bag being advertised as a flashier Speedy. The Louis Vuitton website has since completely removed this bag from its site. It was very popular in the 2000s. The Berkeley bag is a satchel style. It was previously available in Damier Ebene or Damier Azuur Canvas. The bag has adjustable rolled leather top handles and polished brass hardware. There is also a “Louis Vuitton Inventeur” plaque at the front. The bag opens to reveal a large, red microfiber interior. The Berkeley is a great everyday bag. The bag has become very difficult to find on pre-loved markets now that it is no longer available.

Louis Vuitton Pallas Shopper

The Pallas Shopper is another bag that Louis Vuitton Pallas has discontinued. The bag was part leather, part chain shoulder straps. The Pallas Shopper was available in classic LV Monogram and a leather trim. The interior was made of spacious microfiber with a zipper and pockets. It is still possible to find the Pallas Shopper on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Flowersbury

The Louis Vuitton Bloomsbury was a bag that was in some ways very similar to the Louis Vuitton Odeon. The first LV Bloomsbury bag was released in 2009. The Damier Ebene canvas bag was made in two sizes, and GM. The Bloomsbury can be worn crossbody or as a shoulder bag. The bag has been discontinued. Bloomsbury GM are not easy to find on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Tivoli

Tivoli was one of many Louis Vuitton bags which were extremely popular in the early 2000’s. This bag was first released in 2000, and it was discontinued a decade later in 2014. There are two versions of the Tivoli bag: or GM. Both come in classic LV Monogram canvas. Tivoli GM had adjustable handles which made it easy to carry as a handbag or as a shoulder bag. The Tivoli bag is available in as well as GM sizes.

Louis Vuitton Odeon

Also, it appears that the Louis Vuitton Odeon has been discontinued. It was once available in the classic LV Monogram color and in three sizes: PM MM GM. The LV Odeon was a versatile everyday bag. You could wear the bag crossbody or on your shoulder with the long leather shoulder strap. All three versions of Odeon bags are still available on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Mbillon

In 2015, the Louis Vuitton mabillon bag became available for the first time. It was made in the classic LV Monogram canvas. The bag featured an envelope-style flap front pocket that opened to reveal a large, fabric-lined interior. Mabillon was a sophisticated and elegant design. The bag was extremely lightweight. The bag had a crossbody strap with adjustable buckle that made it easy for you to carry. Mabillon was the perfect bag for city living! Mabillon crossbody was only on the market for a short time, compared to other LV bags. It was first seen in boutiques in 2015. By summer 2017, it had been discontinued. It is still possible to purchase it on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Trouville

The Trouville bag by Louis Vuitton was very popular in the early 2000’s. This bag was a smaller version the Deauville. The interior was washable and had several pockets. Many loved the Trouville bag. It was loved for its functionality and practicality. The Trouville bag was also available in Classic Monogram as well as Multicolor Monogram canvas. I was able find several LV Trouvilles on TheReal. One thing I noticed is that the bag in Multicolor Monogram canvas is slightly less expensive than the bag that is in Classic Monogram.

Louis Vuitton Mazarine

The Mazarine is a Louis Vuitton bag which has been discontinued. This bag was part of Louis Vuitton’s 2016 Cruise Collection. The bag was made in Monogram Empreinte leather. It was available in two sizes: or . The Mazarine bag had a beautiful shape, with two toting handles. It also featured a removable strap that could be worn on the shoulder. The interior of the Mazarine was spacious and fabric-lined. The Mazarine in MM could be used as an everyday bag. It isn’t easy to find it on the pre-loved marketplace.

Louis Vuitton Eva Clutch

For a long time, the Eva Clutch was very popular. Many were shocked when the bag was discontinued. The Eva Clutch was available in three of the most iconic Louis Vuitton prints: Damier Ebene, Monogram Canvas and Damier Azur. The main reason the bag was discontinued was because Louis Vuitton at that time had many similar bags. The Eva Clutch and FavoriteMM bags, as well as Pochette Felicie, all had something in common: similar sizes and functionality. The good news is that you can still get the Eva Clutch on the pre-loved marketplace.

These are the 12 Louis Vuitton bags which have been discontinued. This list may not be complete, as it is impossible to locate information about every bag that has been discontinued. But, I’ll keep an eye on the topic. Stay tuned for more posts about discontinued designer bags.
